WHO AM I
Not being one to remember things, I figured the best way to document my experiences as both a student and runner would be to write and blog snapshots of the large and small things I do.
As a student at Loyola University Maryland, I live and breathe the Jesuit values. "Cura personalis", care for the whole person, is the value I identify closest with. I will take any opportunity to learn and despite being a Biology major/Business minor, I enjoy reading St. Augustine just as much as Campbell.
Besides my studies, I have my other passion: running. I began as a highschool senior walkon for my varsity track team, and soon enough I fell in love with the world of running, fitness, and the philosophy behind it. After coming to college, I left the track & field sport and began tackling a new sport: the 5k
The 5k is the perfect distance in my opinion. It is not quick like the mile or exhausting like the marathon, and being someone with a lot of energy and a bit of impatience, this is perfect.
With two years worth of miles behind me, I am now taking the 5k to Copenhagen, Denmark sharing my thoughts, city detours, epic failures, and hopefully some triumphant accomplishments to take back home to Lancaster and Baltimore.
