Nordic Mythology

One of the courses I am taking abroad is, "Nordic Mythology" learning about the Viking Age and the pagan customs and religion at the time. With the class, I went a third of the way into the country of Denmark and saw some Viking age burial mounds, military bases, and fortresses.
It was one of the most impressing experiences feeling so out of context and standing on ancient historical ground.
